The Huangpu district of East China's Shanghai launched an integrated center on May 25 for training top-flight innovative talent across primary, secondary and elementary schools – emphasizing collaboration between schools and universities.

The initiative aims to enhance the innovative literacy and practical skills of students through various activities and high-quality resources.

The center will focus on talent growth management, digital platforms and data sharing to improve efficiency and effectiveness in talent cultivation.

Guo Jinhua, director of the Huangpu district education bureau, outlined the plans for the integrated center to enhance talent development by using the Shanghai Youth Art Activity Center as a core hub.

Guo added that they would shift the focus from university-school communications to collaborative talent cultivation. Key teachers will receive university training, develop innovative courses and offer students expanded learning opportunities.

The approach aims to improve the efficiency of talent cultivation, track project outcomes, enhance the district's educational brand and make talent development more visible and impactful throughout the Huangpu district.

The district plans to track and evaluate the outcomes of talent cultivation projects, share experiences and enhance its educational brand's social impact.

In addition, the upcoming "Zero-to-One" Forum in Huangpu district will feature leading experts mentoring students to foster world-changing aspirations.
