It was a case of thrills and spills when a training camp called the "Ultimate Baby BMX Experience" took place on May 10 at the Luwan Stadium in East China's Shanghai.

There, over 200 teachers and students from the city's Huangpu district participated in this engaging sports class, experiencing the heart-stopping excitement of it all firsthand.

The fun was part of the Urban Festival of the Olympic Qualifier Series, which is getting underway in Shanghai on May 16-19, featuring a thrilling lineup of BMX freestyle events, skateboarding, breaking and sport climbing competitions along the Huangpu Riverside.

Since April, various themed sports programs have been launched in local elementary schools and shopping malls in Shanghai, enabling a broader audience to enjoy urban sports.
