On May 25th, 2019, Shanghai Aurora Foreign Language Middle School’s Grade 6 Integrated Program held its second annual Aurora Amazing Race! Grade 6 Class 1 held their race in the morning, while Grade 6 Class 2 held its race in the afternoon.  What is the Aurora Amazing Race? Simply put, it’s a race modeled after a popular American television series called, “The Amazing Race.” During Aurora’s Amazing Race, students compete against each other in 1 of 6 color groups. The goal is to be the first group to arrive at the Destination. Each group is given clues to riddles that they must solve in order to receive the location of their group’s next Pit Stop Challenge. Through solving riddles and successfully completing challenges, each group progresses along their Aurora Amazing Race Route until they arrive at the Destination. The first group to solve all riddles, complete all challenges, and arrive at the Destination is the winner!

2019年5月25日，上海震旦外国语中学6年级融合班学生参加了梦幻挑战比赛，梦幻挑战比赛的设计是基于美国真人秀“The Amazing Race”，在比赛中，学生分成6个小组，相互竞争，第一个到达终点的小组获胜，每个小组需要根据线索找到指定地点，然后完成挑战项目，之后再收到下一个活动地点的线索。活动路线都经过预先设计。

This was a fun filled day in which students were challenged not only physically, but also to use their critical thinking skills, to collaborate with each other, and to be risk takers as they did some things that were out of their comfort zones. Congratulations to both Grade 6 Class 1’s “Yellow Group” and Grade 6 Class 2’s “Orange Group.” They are Aurora’s Amazing Race 2019 Winners. We look forward to many more fun future Aurora Amazing Races!

一天的活动考验了学生的体力，也训练了批判性思维，提升了合作意识，学生跨出了“舒适区”，两个班级分别有一组团队获胜，让我们一起期待下一次活动！
